Congratulations Dr. Patalano!

Sam successfully defended her dissertation titled, “Use of High-throughput Screening Approaches to Delineate Immune and Pluripotency Gene Regulatory Networks”, on July 8^th, 2025! In her dissertation, she discusses her two main projects in the lab where she used CRISPR interference to identify potential novel regulators of M1 macrophage polarization and used enhanced and paired yeast one-hybrid assays to identify potential novel regulators of pluripotency master regulator genes. We’re excited to see what she does next!
