Benedetta, Berkay, Yousry and Tommy spent three days in Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, where they attended the Systems Biology: Global regulation of gene expression meeting in March 2026, where they presented posters on their work characterizing viral cis-regulatory elements and silencers. Juan also gave a talk titled “Viral transcriptional regulators extensively rewire host pathways through diverse mechanisms”.

The post about the lab presenting research at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory was really interesting, especially how it shows the importance of sharing findings and collaborating with other researchers to improve scientific understanding. I remember working on a college research project where I had to break down complex scientific papers, and I had used Engineering Assignment Service UK at that time to help structure my notes more clearly. It made me realize how important clear communication is in science, especially when presenting ideas to a wider audience.
